Bispecific antibody co-targeting EGFR and CDH17 reduces skin toxicity in preclinical CRC models

A bispecific antibody co-targeting EGFR and cadherin-17 (CDH17) achieved superior tumor growth inhibition compared to EGFR- or c-MET/EGFR-targeting antibodies while reducing skin-related toxicities in preclinical colorectal cancer studies. The high-affinity CDH17-binding arm anchored the antibody to tumor cell surfaces, facilitating rapid engagement of EGFR through an "anchor and capture" mechanism. (Cancer Research)
