    Impact of the Australian National Bowel Cancer Screening Program on Stage at Diagnosis and Survival

    A retrospective cohort study of 881 colorectal cancer episodes from 2010 to 2024 examined overall survival differences between screen-detected and non-screen-detected cancers for each stage I-III; the Australian National Bowel Cancer Screening Program began in 2006, offering free faecal occult blood testing every 2 years to Australians aged 50-75 years.
