Serrated polyp detection rate may predict post-colonoscopy colorectal cancer beyond adenoma detection alone

Among endoscopists with high adenoma detection rates, those with higher proximal serrated polyp detection rates (≥10%) had lower 5-year post-colonoscopy colorectal cancer incidence (0.06%) compared to those with lower rates (0.13%), suggesting serrated polyp detection provides complementary information for quality assessment.
